Out With the New, In With the Old!

My beloved early 1920's
 fur jacket!
So Cosy.

This is the back of the
jumpsuit, it is
 beautifully made!
I have got it altered
 it by tapering the
trouser legs.

This jumpsuit is amazing,
I picked it up in a vintage
 shop, Circa,
one of my favourites
in Glasgow.

I love this long dress
 with the cape attached!

1950's Velveteen Hat

This Cameo ring was a 21st Birthday present,
it is really beautifully made and is very wearable!

This portrait reads "Baden Powell"
who I believe was the founder of the scout movement!

This double sided pendant,(bought for me by my cousin),
is set in rose gold and comes from 1899.
Under this portrait it reads "Roberts" any ideas who he is?
or is it the same person? let me know!

Evening,
It has been such a miserable, wet day here and I had my first 9 o'clock start in along time at uni and it was certainly a shock to the system. But I had the afternoon to get cosy, get some uni work done and blog!
My wardrobe consists of both new, pre-owned and vintage clothing, and I feel I have neglected my vintage gems and wearing new goodies I received over the festive season! So here are a few clothes and accessories (some more antique than vintage) as I fancy dressing up today, I hope you enjoy!

Olivia Lovin'

Today I wore this Olivia Rubin skirt. It is so comfy and best of all it is black with a leopard print brocade (my favourite), I teamed with a loose H&M drape t- shirt, black tights, a chunky necklace and wedges, perfect outfit for shopping and a yummy lunch at Wagamamas!
Olivia Rubin is a young British designer, with quirky, but practical garments, she is definitely one to look out for! If you are from Aberdeen you can purchase Olivia Rubin from It's Darling, 275 Holburn Street,  or if not, It's Darling is now selling online at: http://www.its-darling.com! Happy Shopping!

Littledoe is Love

Happy Isle Headpiece

Sisco Headpiece
Pearl Hat
Provence Dress

All images are taken from Littledoe website!

My cousin is over from Nashville, and she has introduced me to Littledoe after I had admired a necklace she was wearing.

"Littledoe is a custom based accessory company, created on the idea of its clients being able to find solace in a unique and one-of-a kind based side of expression. By crafting each piece from antique materials and sought out trinkets, we aim to provide wearers with that special kind of lovin' feeling. With inspirations and materials found from our great earth mother, no two pieces are identical. The natural beauty of this world provides us with the ability to create from the most raw and natural platforms available. Started in 2008, Littledoe takes its name from a lake in Algonquin Park, Northern Ontario, a reminder of the simplistic things in life. "

After having looked at their website I have fallen in love with the the delicate chains with striking crystals that come in all different types, sizes and colours. Most of Littledoe's stock is custom made, where you can really get a one- off piece that is truly unique! The floppy hats they create are gorgeous, and really make a statement. They also sell some vintage clothing and very original headpieces! So get saving those pennies, I certainly am and check out Littledoe's stock at: https://www.littledoeislove.com

Happy Shopping!

Jewels, jewels and more jewels!

Leather Collar: Jewels

Just some of my necklaces!
My shadow box with my more precious jewellery!
Nixon Watch
Necklace: Jewels
T-Shirt: Label Lab
Necklace: Jewels
Anyone who knows me, will know that I love jewellery! I tend to wear big statement pieces that instantly change an outfit. For xmas I got two awesome pieces. One is a leather collar with silver chunky pendant, it is really unique and can really transform a boring plain t-shirt into something really quite different! The other necklace is long, African piece, also leather with silver, it goes with so much, I just can't get enough of it!! I also got this Nixon tortoise shell watch!
Have a good weekend everyone.

Addiction!

Palazzo Pants: Gok for TU
Peace Necklace: Urban Outfitters
Top: H&M
Shoes: DP (Below: Can't actually see them)

Block Shoes: Dorothy Perkins

Ok, so being a poor student I have zero money in the bank but somehow I think I am richer than I am, alot richer. I cannot stop buying clothes, shoes, accessories (you get the picture), and I have christmas presents to buy. eek! Anyway I bought these shoes online a few weeks ago, and I had forgotten about them! It was pretty exciting when they did arrive! They're from Dorothy Perkins, where I haven't bought shoes from before but I love these!  slightly different for me which is good, and higher, so when I go out with my girlfriends in these I wont just come up to their hips! I think I'm going to get a lot of wear out of these bad boys!! In the pics I'm wearing them with my Palazzo pants I got from Gok Wan's collection at Sainsburys! Got bit of a 70's look going on with these pants and I love the colour of them, and the shoes are perfect with them which you cant really see in the pictures!
